Imani Dream is about a company whose foundation is built of the faith in seeing things the way you want them to be and not how they are.

As far as I can remember, I have been helping clients achieve their #hairigoals. The concept of helping people share their inner beauty by enhancing their outside appearance is what drove me to this profession.

But to simply be a conventional “beautician,” wasn't enough for me. I wanted to do more and be more.  I’ve always been a creative person and someone who wants to live my life free. I wanted to challenge myself to be the best me I could become. Many of our initial clients--some of whom were my friends and family members--were suffering from hair care professionals who didn’t understand the true needs of black females. Dry scalp, breaking edges, using products that weren’t conducive to growth.

In 2001, I decided to do something about this. I became licensed and set out to fix the issues that were plaguing black women.

Since then I have been able to help hundreds of clients restore their hair quality, grow their hair, and express the beauty that lies within. Through proper techniques, treatments, and products, my clients no longer are dealing with complications of someone who doesn’t understand them or their needs.

Our techniques and products make the hair healthier, stronger and longer. Made with quality organic ingredients that nourish the hair, I want our clients to have a sense of easiness and confidence when it comes to their hair and their selves. 

I chose the name Imani Dream because my middle name is Imani which means “faith,” and to “dream” is to see images that could be. I want Imani Dream to be a global brand that helps women achieve the looks that they dream of. Imani Dream represents beauty, faith, and courage.
